Zekki - what's up?

2022 European Year of Youth

Information

In EU countries, there are approximately 14 million young adults ages 20-34 who are not in employment, education or training (NEET). Young people have various support needs, but the needs are not met by services. We have created a service which solves this problem. Zekki provides a one-stop-shop for complicated and fragmented service system matching the young people’s needs and the services via user-friendly and visually appealing digital platform.

Zekki is a digital platform (website) for young people to visit and ask themselves, “how are you doing?”. Based on their responses, users get feedback and recommendations about suitable support. Zekki promotes young people’s wellbeing, which is essential in education, finding employment, and looking after their own welfare and that of other people. Zekki also serves as a platform for professionals and service providers who work with young people, enabling them to reach young people and use the platform as a systematic conversation tool for supporting young people.

Zekki is based on research and practice. It has been developed in cooperation with young people and professionals who work with young people, by using service design methods and with a youth-centred approach.

Zekki is easy to scale and implement in any European country. Less problems at the individual level leads to better social cohesion and productivity across the EU.
