The Latin America IP SME Helpdesk supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the European Union (EU) and associated COSME countries to both protect and enforce their Intellectual Property (IP) rights in or relating to Latin American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela), by providing free information and services. These comprise jargon-free, first-line, confidential advice on intellectual property and related issues, as well as training, materials and online resources.
The Latin America IP SME Helpdesk is part of the IP Helpdesk, which provides support on IP management, protection and enforcement to EU SMEs in Africa, China, Europe, India and South-East Asia.
